My name is Rochelle Jones (she/her/hers), and I have been a Social Worker for over a decade. While originally from Vancouver, I spent many of my formative years in Ontario. I completed a Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, with a Major in Sociology. Thereafter, I completed both a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Master of Social Work at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
I believe strongly in the values of practicing Social Work from an anti-oppressive, and strengths-based perspective. My practice understands the implications of structural oppression that affects the lives of individuals, and groups in society. I am registered with the BC College of Social Workers, and I am also a member of the BC Association of Social Workers.
